I feel truly blessed for having such wonderful family and friends..

My family had a birthday cake and red eggs for my birthday in Malaysia and skyped with me while singing to me.. truly wonderful feeling..

Had birthday celebration here in Glasgow with great friends..

Dinner and games.. and booze..

Thank you to those who came and celebrated with me..

and not forgetting my juniors who brought me to their house to surprise me with cookies, present and a card.. in the middle of my drinking game.. :P (sorry for being drunk that time)

and not forgetting the firemen who came and celebrated my birthday too.. :D ahahhaha..

New Year's Eve was also spectacular.. Went to Clyde Arc for a mini fireworks.. :D

and of cause not forgetting those who supported me when my dearest Barney passed away..

Thank you Eunice for accompanying me through the night eventhough it was 5am in the morning.. Appreciate it alot!!!

Thank you Mina and Jared for skyping with me.. and made me laugh the whole conversation.. took my mind off Barney awhile..

Thank you to everyone who sent their condolences on fb and msgs and skype..

Thank you Amy's house, Fuiwei's house and Eunice's house for inviting me over for dinner so that I do not have to be alone for dinner.. :)

Thank you Vivian for listening when I needed to tell someone the problem that was bothering me.. (i think you know what was it) :)

As I write this post, my legendary German Spitz has finally taken his last breath. Barney, was born on the 11^th of June 1997 and came to our family as a pup. He was just the size of my palm. Very adorable and cute. Friendly as ever and happy as ever. We grew up together. He watched me grow as I watched him grow. I remember I used to bully him a lot when he was a pup but I treated him with respect, as he got older. Everyday after school, he would wait for me at the gate with excitement and when my dad comes home from work, he would run in the house telling us that dad is home. He would always be there for me. As he got older, he got slower and slightly deaf. But still as adorable as ever. He was very famous among our friends because he is the friendliest dog anyone could have.

He was extremely jealous when my family brought in another dog recently but we still treated him as the KING!! :)

As time goes by, we could see that his time was coming.

I received a phone call from my mum (UK time 3.30am) on the 3^rd of January 2012 telling me that Barney was very sick. He had spleen cancer and that operation on him would be too risky. The only option was to put him to sleep. I was shocked as hell as I didn’t see this coming.

The first thing I told him was “I asked you to wait for me to come back in July”.

But everyone was there to support him. Telling him that we will be okay and it would be okay for him to let go. I watched him suffer in pain and finally they took him to the hospital.

He was definitely the one that brought happiness to my childhood and the one I would tell all my secrets.

He was definitely the one that showed unconditional love and care to all of us.

He was definitely the one I would never forget.

He was my dog, my partner, my company and my best friend.

Dear Barney, I know you are in dog heaven now, we will miss you very much and thank you for coming to the family. We love you very much. Thank you for celebrating my 21^st birthday with me.

Just came back from Sweden a couple of days ago..

A very nice and pleasant place indeed.. Peaceful, cold and friendly people..

The Christmas Markets uplifted my Christmas spirit.. :)

Can't remember the last time I actually took the effort of writing on this blog.

Was in Malaysia for about 2-3 months and will be heading back to Glasgow soon.

It was okay at first, but it sux at the end.

Did a two weeks attachment at Tropicana Medical Centre and made a new friend there.. :)

but most of the days, I will be at the gym in the morning and at home during the afternoon staring at the clock and computer.

Did alot of catching up.

Added on my weight.

Fell in love... with my Ipad.. :P

Okay, i guess i have been abandoning my blog quite often..
It has been over 8 months in glasgow.. and all i can say is "ITS FREAKING FAST!!!"
a year of pharmacy is over.. (i hope i pass tho)

one more year to go..
hopefully everything goes smoothly then i can finally graduate...
3rd year of Pharmacy is by far the most stressful year... no rest, no holidays and no fun!
the most we had was 3 days of off-day with no thoughts about studies or whatever assignments...
Christmas break was used for 1st semester finals... and Easter break was for 2nd semester finals (which was HORRIBLE!!)

Finally got exempted from PP3.. it was definitely a relief... THANK YOU JEANIE PHANG for helping...
she helped me alot in my studies like what Mar-Jie did for 1st year and 2nd year...
I am truly grateful for having such wonderful friends like them...

less than one month before heading back to Malaysia... I hope i can find something to do... gain some experience.. :)
I have been thinking alot about the future recently.. on how much i worry about getting a suitable job with great income.. or being a good pharmacist... somehow i think i wont be as successful as others.. because im not as outspoken or with outstanding grades... but oh well, let the future be and see how it will become.. :)

anyway, Jeanie is baking cookies.. and she baked 3 RECIPES!!! ahahaha her kitchen is overflowing with cookies... Im just not feeling too well to help out... (I DID AWHILE OKAY!!).. :P

it was the first ever surprise party i have ever had....

and kudos to FuiWei and Jeanie Phang for their remarkable talented acting skills which really got me...

apparently, they were making cupcakes for my birthday in FuiWei's house yesterday night...

and me being bored at home... so quiet, decided that i wanted to sampat at their place...

little did i know, Fuiwei was making up stories about

1. cupcakes burnt.. so cant eat

2. Julia not there anymore.. went to Ziki's place...

3. wanted to come over to my place to get things from ah Fen...

and when she did come... she was like trying to make me stay in my room...

then ask to go to jeanie's room... to see her things she bought...

and and... Jeanie is another one...

asking me not to go over to their place cos is cold outside...

say if i go, she wont talk to me.. wahaha!!

and if i go, dont even bother about goin to her place later...

yeap.. like the title said, two weeks almost over... time really flies around here... mayb is a good thing... last sunday i was really starting to miss home... the daily hectic subang life.. but i got over it.. ahaha.. parents just came back from perth for my sister's graduation.. how i wish i could be there... but oh well.. ahahaa... mum was telling me that barney was so damn excited when they got back.. he was trying to tell them something.. ahhh, so adorable...

anyway, life here is pretty much okay.. great friends around.. the fun we are having despite the boring classes... ahaha.. oh about the classes, the lecturer talks too fast but has a good explanation... BUT boring!! ahahaa.. kinda monotonous..

anyway, we decided to eat out last night... after walking for almost an hour, we cant find a decent place to eat... when we found one, we went in... and sat down... but as we walked in, the whole place went quiet and i felt a little awkward... ahaha then the lady said, "We are not serving anymore food.. only at lunch time"... swtness.. ahaha

then few of us ate McD and the others ate Subway... 5pounds for McD!! omg.. Rm25... okay, no more eating out for me.. ahaha

then we headed to Topshop since they were having 20% for all students...

bought a jacket... yummm... there goes my $$$... ahaha

after topshop, we were trying to find strongbow to drink at home... but couldnt find any.. then ended up at Union to drink...

1.50pounds for a cup... not bad... aahhaa.. yummy...

after the super long flight from KL to Glasgow, we can finally say WE REACHED!! ahaha

reached around 2.30pm...

took our keys and carried our luggage...

took the bus to the university...

put our stuffs in the hostel and enjoyed the welcoming party they provided for us...

nothing much to say about this place...

just that the weather is much nicer and much cooler.. NO SWEAT!! ahaha

is not a bad movie.. but i find the beginning abit boring.. ahaha.. then the hamsapness came in.. i seriously couldnt tahan.. ahaha... anyway.. nth much happened...

had a random minum session last night...

left home around 10.10pm.... traffic was quite congested...

played the same game... drank chivas...

i dont think this time i was really drunk...

can remember things but some part it felt like a dream... ehehe...

after finishing chivas, they played monopoly and jolene was dominating it... sucking every player's money.. ahaha

then headed to mamak at around 4am...

saw an accident on Kesas highway.. quite tragic i must say... quite hard to figure out what car was it...

then makan super early breakfast.. ahaha... talked and talked till around 6am?? ahaha...

then headed to family park and jalan2 sikit...

after that played pool and then headed home...

so, practically didnt sleep the whole night... awesome!! ahaha...

7 of us decided to head to penang for 2 days just to enjoy the scrumptious and sumptuous food. Left around 5am and reached around 9am and met up with Jeanie.

First stop, some coffee shop on the way to Kek Lok Si temple...

Then it was Kek Lok Si temple..

took a few pictures and walked around.. Spent alot of money on parking itself..

then headed to New World Food Court.. Swatow Lane.. :)

Oh Chien.. AWESOME!! ahaha....

will never forget Mun Yee's expression when she ate it... :)

then was Gurney Plaza... walked around.. didnt buy anything..

then went to check in at Leisure Cove Tanjung Bungah...

few swam, one slept, and few more were just posing and taking pictures.. ;)

and i had a fun time wrestling with mun yee.. omg, she is super strong.. ahahha

makan time... at Gurney.. had a variety of dishes... was actually not dinner time but we just had to eat.. :D

actually 2day is only the first day of study break according to timetable.. but thank god, we finished class last tuesday.. so had extra days to study... but i dont know whether i used those extra days well... been trying to study PP... is mostly based on common sense... about everyday life of a pharmacist.. on what s/he should do, ethics and so on... ahaha... but if you ask me to write an essay about it, DEAD!!! :P

anyway, hopefully everything goes well.. hopefully will be able to remember everything on EOS day... and after that we shall party!!! :D

Drug and Disease test this tuesday... dunno what to expect.. 30% for finals... one question and we have to evaluate the text given and identify the mechanism of the drug... so alot of reading back on physiology and pharmacology... been reading and reading.. trying to memorize but is of no use... hopefully the question will be straight forward...

I still can remember the day when my sis and my dad brought back this cute little puppy with the size of my sis lower arm... That was back in 1997 when i was just 7 years old.. He was so cute and adorable(he still is)... We used to keep him in a box before getting him his cage.. He will chew off my favourite power rangers shoes and my mum's leather shoes... Pee on my parent's bed... Dig the ground.. He will even eat his own shit... But despite his naughty-ness, he is STILL our cute and loving dog..

He will run in the house and into the kitchen and bark at us to tell us that someone is at the door..
He will wait at the outside gate when you are walking home cos he somehow knew that u are reaching home..
He refuses to get in the house and wait at the gate when you are in your car grabbing your stuffs...
He knows that when you need a hug, he will let you hug him even he hates hugs.. :)

He is 13 years old now... Many told me that it will be anytime soon... But I refuse to believe them as I think Barney is a warrior.. He is not like other dogs... But do let me know if its time.. :(
